Flights – Arrival & Departure
If you plan on arriving in Costa Rica the first day of the program, we ask that you land in San Jose International Airport - Juan Santamaria (SJO) by Sunday 12 noon and that you plan to depart the following Saturday anytime after 3:30 pm. If you decide to arrive in Costa Rica earlier, we can recommend a few hotels in San Jose.
We will pick you up from the airport Sunday morning and provide your transportation back to the airport Saturday afternoon. You should be back at the airport roughly around 2:00 pm. The van ride to the lodge takes approximately three and a half hours. The road is safe, paved, and the sightseeing breathtaking. We will cross the Braulio Carrillo National Park which is the largest virgin protected area in Costa Rica.
