Broccoli with garlic

Broccoli is so good for you packed with vitamin C, fibre and compounds such as indol-3-carbinol which you just need to know does amazing things for your liver. There are so many ways to enjoy broccoli, this side dish recipe is super simple to whisk up when you tired from work and want a quick healthy dinner. The perfect accompaniment to steamed fish or grilled salmon.

1 medium head of broccoli

1 teaspoon of olive oil

2 cloves of crushed garlic

 

Steam the broccoli till it gets tender. Set aside then sauté the garlic on the olive oil until golden. Add the broccoli to the garlic and lightly grill to infuse the flavours.
